artsHOP 2012 PAINTED CHAIRS
artsHOP 2012 will be presenting PAINTED CHAIRS that will line the porches of businesses in Holmes Beach and Anna Maria City - some chairs
will also be displayed at several galleries and boutiques around the island. They can all be enjoyed from November 1st and during the Gallery Walk on
November 9th. On November 10th, all of the PAINTED CHAIRS will come together at the Studio at Gulf and Pine for a Silent Auction - 5:30-7:30PM. Of course
there will be refreshments and merriment as we all admire and bid on the chair or chairs of our choice. Check or cash only for payment.
FIRST PREVIEW OF THE PAINTED CHAIRS
We have CHAIRS!!! The Artists's Guild Gallery in Holmes Beach has chairs with more coming in each day. The Garden Club also brought their chair over to the porch at
Arts for the Earth on Pine Avenue in Anna Maria and the AMIHS chair is displayed at Shiny Fish. More chairs can be seen at the Olive Oil Outpost and the Relish Marketplace on Pine Avenue.Chairs are on display at Ginnie
and Jane E's (inside) on Gulf Drive and at the Artists' Guild Gallery and Restless Natives in Holmes Beach.
Each chair has a BUY NOW price, so you can purchase any of them prior to the Painted Chair Auction on November 10th at the Studio at Gulf and Pine.
Chair Painting Party at Crosspointe Fellowship Church
We started out with over 20 chairs that had been donated by the Chiles Group's Sandbar Restaurant... and only have 2 left. We had a fun group painting their chairs at
the church and many more picking up chairs to paint at home. Some artists delivered their finished chairs to many 'oohs and ahhs' from the group. What a fun day with paints
donated by True Value and Keeton's Art and Office Supply - we all made new friends and got started on our Painted Chair creations.
