5th ANNUAL GALLERY WALK
Anna Maria and Holmes Beach
Over ten galleries will host an open house featuring various local artists. Some galleries will also be
doing live demos, hands-on participation and most will have light bites, refreshment and live entertainment to enhance the
atmosphere. Easy access to all galleries by the FREE island trolley.

Start at any participating gallery to pick up an artsHOP "passport"
which maps out the artsHOP galleries on Anna Maria Island. Visitors who get their passport stamped at
six of the eight artsHOP galleries will receive a valuable coupon worth 20 percent off dinner at
any one of the three popular local Chiles Restaurants, The Sandbar, Beach House or Mar Vista.
Additionally qualifying visitors will be eligible for a $150-value arts supply basket courtesy of
Keeton's Art Supply of Bradenton, FL -- just by turning in their stamped passport (location to be announced) before 8:45 p.m.

Galleries included in the Art Walk on Friday night are:
1. The Studio at Gulf and Pine

The Studio at Gulf and Pine will present "FLOW", Earth's Motion in Paint, an exhibition celebrating artsHOP by artists
Nancy K. Betty and Cheryl Moody. The opening reception will be on Nov 11th from 5-7pm
2. Ginny & Jane E's
AMICCO will provide two vocalists and an accompanist to perform during Gallery Walk. The vocalists/accompanist are:
They will provide selections from Broadway shows, light opera, and current popular selections, including "Time to say Goodbye,"
the quite famous piece so beautifully performed by Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli.
- Joy Leitner, an AMICCO Choral Section Leader, who has a beautiful soprano voice and is featured in all AMICCO concerts,
frequently as a solo performer.
- Bob Lischetti, a renowned tenor in the Sarasota area, whom AMICCO is fortunate enough to have perform with us as a solo
performer when we require the power of an operatic voice.
- Their accompanist is Lurray Myers, who frequently accompanies them, and is a fixture at most musical events of this
nature in Sarasota and Manatee County.

Ginny’s & Jane E’s at The Old IGA’s eclectic selection of local art and more provides a fabulous opportunity to shop for
amazing gifts. Featured are numerous local artists who frequently are on site lounging in the Cafe enjoying fresh baked goodies
and mingling with other patrons. The art is displayed inside Ginny’s & Jane E’s Bakery Café & Island Coastal Store at 9807 Gulf
Drive, Anna Maria and is open seven days a week.

The Village Café at the Rosedale, 503 Pine Avenue, opposite the Roser Church, is proud to take part in the Artshop for the first time this year. Our nearly-100 year-old building has been restored from years of decay and is now a fun and0 colorful fun place to eat breakfast and lunch, and enjoy fun evenings with music and other events. We have comfortable, relaxed seating throughout, with a porch room, our main room, a sit-up bar, and a gorgeous wooden deck with colorful sunshades, surrounded by native plantings.
6. Really Relish
And our food is fabulous - fresh salads and quiches, bagels, oatmeal, muffins, delicious sandwiches and interesting drinks plus daily Smoothie and Soup Specials. PLUS, we believe, we have 'the Best Coffee on the Island' - especially sourced for us from a local coffee roaster who specializes in organic and fairly traded coffee. Come and meet our friendly team - and feel part of our Island Community. We feature the work of local artists and photographs of our island history. On display in November is the work of:

7. Artists Guild Gallery
5414 Marina Drive, Holmes Beach
The Artists' Gallery will be featuring the watercolor artist,
Charles Hlawatsch for the month of November. The
reception will be on Friday, Nov. 11 from 5 - 9 P.M. as
part of the ArtShop weekend. There will be food from the
Feast restaurant and wine.
The raffle will include one of
Charles' paintings, two original paintings by Mark
Polomchak, and a gift basket donated by Keeton's. Outside
the Gallery, the band State Road 64 will be playing. We
will be displaying several doors painted by AGAMI members
as part of the community art project, the DOORS.
8. The Anna Maria Island Art League

The Anna Maria Island Art League is pleased to be a part of the annual artsHOP. Island Visions is an all media juried exhibit
where artists explore the views and visions of Anna Maria Island. Celebrar el Sol (Celebrate the Sun) is an extension of Island
9. Island Gallery West
Opening Reception is on Friday, November 11th from 5pm to 9pm and the show will continue through the November 25th. Refreshments
and hors d'oeuvres will be provided by The Chop Shop and the AMI Art League. Two arts demonstrations, music and information booths
will also accompany the opening. This event is free and opened to the public.
The Anna Maria Island Art League was founded in 1989 by a small group of artists and art lovers with a desire to bring art to the
island community. In June 1993 the Art League opened the island's first art center in Holmes Beach, Florida. Please support the
island as well as the Art League in celebration of all its beauty and wonders depicted by artists of the area.

Trolley Stop #15
On Friday, Nov. 11, in conjunction with artsHOP, the gallery will host an open reception from 5:00-9:00 PM. The public is
invited to enjoy fine art, free refreshments and to meet some of the gallery's 28 member artists at Island Gallery West,
5368 Gulf Dr. in the S&S Shopping Plaza, Holmes Beach. The Gallery will have The Musical Stylings of Chip Ragsdale -- music from
the '60s to the '80s for your enjoyment.
10. 12th & East Home at the Beach
All through November, Island Gallery West will feature BRENDA ALCORN's mixed-media paintings in an exhibit entitled "Kaleidoscope:
The movement from nature to art through photography and painting." Ms. Alcorn is a mixed-media artist working in collage,
experimental watercolor, gyotaku, printmaking and photography. She came to art after a 30-year career in education teaching
English at Manatee High School. Her artwork is infused with color and creativity. The exhibit runs through November 30.
