Cultural Connections is thrilled to announce the presentation of the 5th
Annual Anna Maria Island artsHOP.
The festivities will begin on Friday, November 11th with the
Gallery Walk from 5-9pm. The
Island Players will present Charles Lindberg-The Lone Eagle at 8pm with coffee and gourmet treats at
intermission (served by the Off Stage Ladies).
Saturday The Anna Maria Island Historical Society in conjunction with the Florida Maritime Museum at Cortez will host a traditional small boat
show at the society's museum complex (on both Saturday and Sunday.) The annual AMI Butterfly Garden Arts and Crafts Fair will take place in Holmes Beach (on both Saturday and Sunday.) and
The Island Players will be repeating their presentation of Charles Lindberg-The Lone Eagle at 8pm with
coffee and gourmet treats at intermission.
On Sunday at 2PM artsHOP will feature live performance of classical music by Anna Maria Island Concert Chorus and Orchestra [AMICCO], featuring
selections from the Masters. The artsHOP festivities will conclude with a
gathering on the Manatee County beach at sunset for a Drum Circle directed by Scott Blum.

Our Anna Maria Island community proudly supports over seven art galleries and studios, a nationally
recognized historical society, a renowned orchestra and chorus, and a published writers' group.
